About Make My WorD
I was never the person to write technical documentation or any “jargon” related to code or the work I do. I never really enjoyed it - maybe because I was doing it at work and did not see the “enjoyment” of doing it again on my personal time. I am much happier writing short stories, poems or my political thoughts on my personal blog.
Recently I realized that I think in order to make myself better at the work I do - I need to actually keep track of the work I do. I was visiting some forums and sites the other day related to my past work experience such as Documentum and Alfresco and was amazed that I had posted some interesting questions or thoughts and had completely lost track and sight of them. Being the self-critic I am, I decided that it was time to actually start “journal-ing” my work thoughts as well, and instantaneously it has helped.
Just making this website and changing the layout of my other sites such as FAT BOY RUN, made me focus on the key to retaining individuals to a particular web page, the content associated with it, the 2.0’s and the rest of the technical mayhem. I was obviously assisted with a couple of links sent by my colleagues and a few comps as well.
So this site is dedicated to my work which mainly revolves around Web Content Management Systems and its tributaries such as Social Networking, Collaboration, Digital Asset Management, Web 2.0 and the associated industries such as Publishing Firms, Universities and other industry players. I will also put my thoughts on trends pertaining to frameworks in these areas and associate some code at times if I am in a happy mood. This is all subject to change of course :).
I hope you take some time to read this site and also follow me on twitter, where I usually am doing something or the other.
